Terms for saina.run and api.saina.run
These terms cover the Saina website, the playground and the hosted API. They are written to be read, not to hide anything, and they are short because the service is simple.
In short. Use the hosted API for your own workflows, keep your key to yourself, don't abuse the service, and don't send us data you aren't allowed to send. We store none of your request or response content. The service is early and offered as-is, with no uptime promise yet. Either side can stop at any time.
1. Who these terms are between
"Saina", "we" and "us" mean Rama Labs Inc., the company behind Saina. "You" means the person or organization using the service. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can agree to these terms for it.
These terms apply to saina.run, the browser playground at saina.run/playground and the hosted API at api.saina.run (together, the "service"). They do not apply to the open-weights models, the SDKs, the n8n node or the server software, which are released under their own open-source licenses (Apache-2.0 unless the repository says otherwise). Running that software yourself is not covered by these terms.
2. Access and keys
- The hosted API needs an API key. Keys are issued to one caller at a time, through the waitlist, on request, or through a platform such as OpenRouter.
- You are responsible for everything done with your key. Keep it secret; if it leaks, tell us at [email protected] and we will revoke it and issue a new one.
- You may not share, sell or sublicense a key, or resell access to the hosted API as a standalone product. Building your own product on top of it is fine.
- We can revoke a key or change limits at any time, and we will say why unless doing so would be unsafe.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service for lawful purposes in your own workflows. Do not:
- send content you have no right to send, including personal data you are not permitted to process with a third party;
- try to get around rate limits, authentication or other safeguards, or probe or load-test the service without asking first;
- interfere with the service or other callers;
- use the service to make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on a person without a human in the loop, such as decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance or medical care;
- use it to break the law or the rights of others.
The model returns probabilities, not facts. Treat its answers as one signal in your workflow and keep your own checks, especially for anything irreversible.
4. Your data
The hosted API keeps no request or response content: no database, no disk writes, no cache of your text, no access logs, and nothing is used to train or evaluate any model. The full policy, including transit through Cloudflare and processing location, is on the hosted API page and forms part of these terms. If it changes, that page's date changes with it.
Content you send stays yours. We take no license to it beyond what is needed to process the request and return the answer. Answers the service returns are yours to use.
The waitlist form stores the email address and any notes you give us, only to issue keys and tell you about hosted-API changes. Email [email protected] to be removed. The website uses Google Analytics for page-view statistics.
5. Availability and changes
- The hosted API is early and runs on limited capacity. There is no uptime commitment and no service credit. Status and standby regions are described on the hosted API page.
- We may change, limit or stop the service, and we will give notice of breaking changes to the API contract where we reasonably can. The self-hosted server is always available as a drop-in alternative.
- Prices, where they apply, are listed on the hosted API page or in
/v1/models. We will not charge you without an agreement that says what you pay.
6. No warranty; limited liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of any answer, or uninterrupted operation.
To the extent permitted by law, Rama Labs Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from the service or these terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
7. Your responsibility
You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or decisions you make or automate using its answers.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time; there is nothing to cancel. We can suspend or end your access at any time for breach of these terms, for abuse, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 4, 6, 7 and 9 continue to apply afterwards.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either side may seek an injunction anywhere to protect its rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the version in force. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
